Dr. Tatiana Besschetnova
Dr. Tatiana Besschetnova received her MS in physics from St. Petersburg State University, Russia, and earned an MS in chemistry from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She then received her PhD in biochemistry/biophysics from UMass-Amherst in 2006. After completing her postdoctoral fellowship at HMS/BWH in the Department of Systems Biology/Renal Division, she joined HSDM in fall 2009.
Fields of Interest
Dr. Beschetnova’s research interests are currently focusing on understanding the functional role of integrin-like receptor TEM8/ANTXR 1 in vascular, connective, and bone tissue homeostasis.
